For contractors and small service businesses

Send the estimate. Get the signature. Get paid.

Billow is built around how service work actually happens: quote a job, get it approved before you start, then collect payment without a single follow-up call.

Signed estimate on iPhone

Built for self-employed contractors, home service pros, and small studios who bill by the job.

Everything a service business needs to invoice, nothing it doesn’t

No accounting jargon, no setup wizard. Just the handful of things that get a job quoted, approved, and paid.

Estimates clients can actually sign

Send a link, not a PDF attachment. Clients approve or decline right in their browser, no account needed, with a typed or drawn signature kept on record.

Invoices that collect themselves

Take card payments straight from the invoice, or record cash, check, and bank transfers by hand. Either way, the balance updates on its own.

One tap from quote to invoice

An approved estimate becomes an invoice draft with the same client, line items, and pricing already filled in. Nothing to retype.

Reports that use real dates

Cash totals are based on when money actually landed, not when you sent the invoice. Break it down by client, month, or quarter.

Reminders that chase for you

Automatic emails go out three days before, one day before, and on the due date. A push notification tells you the moment a client pays.

A price book you build once

Save services and materials with their usual price, unit, and tax setting. Drop them into any estimate or invoice in a couple of taps.

Built for the trades that bill by the job

If your work moves from quote, to approval, to an invoice you have to chase, Billow was built with your business in mind.

  • Electricians
  • Plumbers
  • HVAC technicians
  • Landscapers and lawn care
  • Handymen and general contractors
  • House cleaning services
  • Painters
  • Pest control
  • Roofers
  • Appliance repair
  • Photographers and videographers
  • Personal trainers and coaches

Don’t see your trade listed? Billow works for any self-employed contractor or small service business that sends estimates, invoices clients, and gets paid for a job well done.

From first quote to paid invoice

The same four steps behind every job, whether it’s a $200 repair or a $20,000 remodel.

Price book on iPhone
01

Start with what you already know

Add a client once, with their contact details and address. Build a price book of the services and materials you bill most often, each with its usual price, unit, and tax setting, so a recurring job takes seconds to put together.

Quote the job, send it in a link

Pull items from your price book or add a one-off line, apply a discount or tax if the job needs it, and send it. Your client gets a link that opens in any browser, not a PDF attachment they have to download and print.

Client approving an estimate in a browser
03

Get a real answer, not a maybe

Your client reviews the estimate on their phone or computer and approves it with a typed name or a drawn signature, or declines it with a comment. Either way, you know where you stand before you show up on site.

Turn the yes into cash

An approved estimate becomes an invoice draft in one tap, same client, same line items, same pricing. Send it, and your client pays by card straight from the page, or you record cash, check, or a bank transfer yourself.

Reports that answer the one question that matters

How much money actually came in, and from whom. Billow tracks cash by the date it landed, not the date you billed for it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Billow free to use?

Yes. The free plan includes three sent invoices and three sent estimates per month, one business, and up to fifteen clients, with no time limit. Pro and Unlimited remove those caps and add reporting, reminders, and automation.

Do my clients need to install anything?

No. Clients open a regular link in their browser to review an estimate, sign it, or pay an invoice. Billow itself is an iPhone app for the business owner.

How do clients pay an invoice?

By card, straight from the invoice page, or you can record cash, check, or bank transfer payments yourself from the app. Card payments are processed through Stripe, and money goes to your own connected account, not through Billow.

What does Billow take from a payment?

A 1% platform fee on card payments, taken from your payout, never added to the client. That drops to 0.5% on the Unlimited plan. Stripe’s own processing fee is separate and can optionally be passed to the client.

Can I use Billow for more than one business?

Yes. The free plan supports one business, Pro supports three, and Unlimited has no limit. Each business keeps its own clients, price book, and documents.

Is Billow available on Android?

Not yet. Billow is currently an iPhone app, available on the App Store.
